There are several areas you visit during that quest, where you died might be useful. As for why the game crashed in the first place, I tried playing the quest I assumed you were talking about (Bounty Hunt silver quest?) but when dying during that quest I didn't encounter any crash upon reloading. Hey Vish, it looks like those save files are corrupted - I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about getting them back. Also in the saves folder the saves are 0kb in size. When I load that save and go to load game in the start menu it shows the auto saves are there but has the playtime as something like 183743d 23h 34m.

Now when I start the game my autosaves are gone and all I have left is a manual save from 3 hours ago. When I died and chose to load from checkpoint my game crashed.
